Quiet house in the countryside surrounded by animals

1.5 hours from Paris, near Château-Thierry, the champagne vineyards of southern Aisne, a miller's house that can accommodate 6 people, completely renovated, awaits you for a stay in the countryside. It is in Montfaucon, a town of 200 inhabitants, at the Moulin de la Ville Chamblon that your vacation rental is located. A popular setting for a desire for nature, views of pastures, horses and others, silence, the sound of water and birdsong, a great place to meet and disconnect from everyday life. The space Your holiday home, with an area of 90 m², is located on the estate of the Moulin de la Ville Chamblon, a family property inherited from our grandparents, where my husband Cyrille, our children (Alexandre and Noémie) and I have lived for about twenty years. Accommodation not accessible for people with reduced mobility. Our house is adjacent to yours. We will share the outdoor areas, but we will give you the privacy and tranquility you need for an enjoyable stay on the terrace side of the cottage. The cottage is fully equipped, and you will find everything you need for a peaceful stay there. On the ground floor, you will have a beautiful, functional and modern fully equipped kitchen, open to the living room with exposed beams. The living room is equipped with a comfortable sofa with a flat-screen TV and a DVD player for movie nights with family or as a couple (we provide several DVDs of all genres) or fun evenings (board games available on request). For your comfort and because it's full of charm, the accommodation is heated with a pellet stove. A safety gate can be installed around the stove as well as at the top of the stairs. The sleeping area is located on the first floor of the house. Two cozy, uncluttered bedrooms with hardwood floors: - one with 2 single beds measuring 80 x 200 cm (can be converted into a 160 x 200 cm bed without a footboard) as well as a sofa bed for 2 additional sleepers; - the other with a double bed 140 x 200 cm (without a footboard). 1 or 2 cribs available In each of the bedrooms, you will find a wardrobe or closet for storing your belongings. The beds are made upon arrival and towels are provided. All you have to do is put your bags down! The upper floor is also equipped with a bathroom with a walk-in shower, bathtub and sink. The toilet is separate upstairs, so the accommodation is not suitable for people with reduced mobility. You will have a private terrace with a garden (the dog does not have access to it) with garden furniture, deckchairs, a barbecue, and a parasol. For families, a swing, a wendy house and a trampoline are available in a second garden (no access for the dog) (to be shared with our children). We have farm animals, which delights the children! Chickens, goats, horses, a dog (used to children, and who can be kept inside if the children are uncomfortable with him, but often children are afraid at first and then want to take him home with them)... to pet, under parental supervision. There is a small stream at the rear of the gîte, which requires supervision for little ones. Guest access You have independent access to your accommodation. - The gardens are to be shared with the owners but we are very little there and we are committed to preserving your privacy, comfort and calm. A garden adjoining the enclosed cottage or the dog can't access for your comfort or you can find the terrace, sunbeds, barbecue and a small stream. An enclosed garden (the dog does not access it) , flowered and wooded on the other side of the parking lot is also accessible to you where you will find the sandpit, the swing, the children's cabin and on sunny days you can pick the strawberry and tomato raspberries at your fingertips. The trampoline awaits him young and old in part of the parking lot. - Parking right in front of the cottage for one or more cars. - Wifi available in the house and 4G network - Convenience/proximity: The city of Château-Thierry (15 min) has all the shops to do your shopping but also the castle, the banks of the Marne, museums and restaurants. The city of Montmirail (15min) offers all amenities, as well as a children's play PArc, and an area to visit. Only the cottage and the open space of the garden is accessible to you. The public is not allowed to operate. Other things to note Includes made SHEETS and beds, bath TOWELS, towels, household products, and salt, pepper, oil, vinegar, a few SENSEO coffee pods to start and do at least a laundry detergent and dishwasher.
