Aradena Traditional Houses complex is placed on the south side of the White Cretan mountains and is part of the Aradena village, known from it's glorious past but also for its gorge.Our complex of 4 fully equipped rennovated Sfakian houses offers a luxurious and private retreat for both adventurous or relaxed travellers. Having the village as a starting point one can explore the surrounding area through hiking,trekking,skiing or climbing and enjoy the unique nature and cretan hospitality. The space The house #1 is found on the first floor of a rennovated traditional Sfakian house.The house has wooden flooring, a fully equipped kitchen, comfortable dinning and sitting area with fireplace and a spacious bathroom. There is also a separate double bedroom. The level is accessible by a separate stairway access from the ground garden area. The widely used traditional materials of wood and stone enhance the houses' warm feeling and cosiness. Apart from the traditional fireplace the house has an autonomous heating floor system and also AC units for both heating and cooling. There is a large veranda area outside that has a pergola with a dining area and BBQ under.Being on the second floor visitors get to enjoy a picturesque view of the village. Guest access All visitors have access to a communal garden and playground area. They are also welcome to use the BBQ grill -found on the same floor-in order to cook something delicious and enjoy their meal under the shaded pergola with a lovely view of the village.A free parking lot is found outside of the house.
