And should the weather not play along, the surrounding area offers many worthwhile excursion destinations: the Baltic Sea spa Großenbrode, the Schleswig-Holstein Lake District, the Hansapark in Sierksdorf and the island of Fehmarn with a shark and marine centre, a donkey park and 'Noah's Ark'. Denmark is also just a stone's throw away. Well-developed cycle paths open up the beautiful landscape of Schleswig-Holstein to you. You can hire bikes directly on site.
