The Reading Room is a beautiful, self-contained period annexe set in a small, peaceful village on the edge of the Peak District and within easy reach of Alto Towers. It has recently been modernised and furnished to create a comfortable and stylish space in which to relax and explore the surroundings countryside, local towns and cities. The space The light and airy kitchen/living area is open plan and comes complete with a newly installed kitchen, microwave oven and all other kitchen necessities. The living area boasts not only a wall-mounted, flat-screen tv but also a large, comfortable corner sofa which converts into a roomy double bed. There is plenty of storage space available, along with a fold down dining table with seating. The bedroom is light, cosy and comfortable with a modern and stylish fully equipped en-suite shower room . There is also a pop up single bed ,plus bedding, available if required. There is a utility room in the front entrance of the property which has a washing- machine, iron and ironing board, all of which you are more than welcome to use. You are also welcome to share our garden, but please be aware we own an extremely friendly border terrior who absolutely loves visitors and a little old Jack Russell who doesn’t give a toss ! There is secure off street parking to the front of the property and on street parking is also available. Other things to note We are a dog loving family and warmly welcome up to two well behaved dogs in the reading room. We would appreciate if you could clear up after your dogs both inside and outside the property - if you need any extra doggy towels,blankets, poo bags etc please don’t hesitate to ask us. There is a charge of £10 per dog payable on arrival unless already paid for when booking . We kindly ask that you do not leave your dog unattended for long periods of time and that you keep your pet off all bedding and soft furnishings. Many thanks.
