Enjoy a wonderful stay at our mountain cabin! Ideal for a stop over when travelling east/west. Even better for a longer stay as a base for outdoor activities both in winter and summer. Skiing, hiking, fishing - or just relaxing in the sun! Please note the tap water is from a well and sometimes have a slight red color. Drinking water (bottled) is provided from the water dispenser in the refrigerator. The jacuzzi can be rented for an additional fee, due to utilities cost for heating. The space The cabins is a real Norwegian family cabin in the mountains, originally built in 1965 and expanded and developed over the years. Located secluded on a hillside, yet accessible by car on a private road in the summertime. In winter, car have to be parked about 300 meters from the cabin. Bedroom 1: 1 double bed. Bedroom 2: 2 single beds. One additional bed is located between the living room and the kitchen. Two additional sofas in the living room can be slept on by children. (Two-seaters) Maximum number of people: 5 adults - and 2 children. Guest access Fireplace, wood stove, firewood, electrical heating, refrigerator, cooking oven, Weber barbecue grill, WiFi, streaming TV with movie and sports channels, board games for children. Bathroom with shower and separate WC located in annex to cabin.Jacuzzi can be rented for an additional fee, due to utilities cost and time consumed for changing water. Other things to note The water is pumped from a well and can sometimes have a slight metallic taste - perfectly good and healthy as drinking water anyway, but some people prefer to bring bottled water or to fill water containers at nearby river or at the local shop (free of charge). Bottled drinking water is provided in the water dispenser in the refrigerator. The jacuzzi can be rented at an additional cost.
