Welcome to Mount Panorama, your private forest sanctuary only 10 minutes drive from the beautiful seaside town of Port Douglas. The perfect location to explore Cape Tribulation, the Daintree, Mossman Gorge and the Atherton Tablelands. Soak up the Far North QLD vibes as you take it easy on the expansive veranda or lounge around the beautiful pool. The large stand alone house & veranda of about 230m sq. its garden & pool are all yours. This is a rare gem in an exclusive & very special location. The space There are 4 large bedrooms and 3 complete bathrooms. Master bedroom 25m sq. with ensuite and work space with a desk. Private room at the back of the house with ensuite has its own private entrance and large private undercover terrace with table and chairs. One inside bedroom has its own private garden access and terrace with chairs. There is also a full bathroom with a bath. A very beautiful open kitchen, lounge and dining area of 70m sq. opens on to the expansive deck of over 35m sq. with a BBQ, its own dining area, lounge areas and breakfast bar, all overlooking the pool with sweeping views of the Mowbray Valley and Coral Sea. The pool area is large with an undercover dining area. Please note that there are multiple steps needed to get down to the pool. There is an outside fire circle to sit around in the evening in the tropical garden. Note as well although this house is absolutely private, there is a lower neighbouring roof visible at about 40m. Undercover parking next to the house can accommodate 2 large vehicles with room for extra cars next to the house. Guest access The whole house, pool and garden are yours to use, the house is very private, for stays 2 weeks or longer we offer a free cleaning service and bed linen change once a week The bedrooms all have air-conditioning, some however, can be a little loud. The main living kitchen area also has air conditioning. Please note- all wheel drive is preferred. The undercover parking can accommodate 2 large vehicles, with more space to park other cars next to the house. Other things to note I am very happy to communicate through airbnb or by phone,,, will consider 3 night stay nightly rate for 3 nights may be higher however. Australian racing legend Peter Brock and his family owned and affectionately nicknamed "Mount Panorama" due to its sweeping elevated vistas. Hiking nearby Mount Panorama include the historic Bump Track, the Twin Bridges Track, and the adventurous Spring Creek Falls. Beautiful place for bird watching and nature watching.
