Located in a hamlet of vacation rentals, this charming house with its attractive decor is the ideal place for your group. Relaxation is guaranteed around the pool or by the pond. We are close to the GR22 hiking trail, Bagnoles de l'Orne, and Carrouges. We offer the option of renting the jacuzzi for an hour or more at an additional cost. The space “Le gîte du Fil Rouge” is located in the middle of a private hamlet, completely restored, nestled in the heart of the Normandy countryside, close to a stud farm, and boasts a beautiful heated swimming pool. Le Gîte du Fil Rouge welcomes you on three levels: - On the ground floor, there is a 30 m² fitted kitchen/dining room and a 30 m² bedroom with a huge rustic fireplace and granite flooring, which sleeps one double bed and one single bed. - On the first floor, there are two showers, two toilets, two sinks, and a large triple bedroom. - On the second floor, there is a dormitory with seven single beds. The entire property can accommodate a dozen people (or more, depending on the desired level of comfort). The hamlet (decorated in a country-chic style), located in the heart of the Normandy-Maine Regional Park, welcomes you to a preserved bocage landscape. The Grande Randonnée (GR) hiking trail leading to Mont St Michel passes less than a kilometer from the house and allows for hikes along the region's typical sunken paths. In the immediate vicinity is a stud farm that breeds French saddle horses and can board your horse. Ten kilometers away, Carrouges and its remarkable castle are worth a visit, as is the garden of the “ferme ornée” (ornate farm). 17 km away is Bagnoles de l'Orne, with its casino, cinema, numerous and varied restaurants, golf course, and various activities.
