It's gorgeous. Clearview is a historic 18th century cottage in one of the most desirable areas of this stunning island, that has been recently renovated. Only a short distance from the sea, and with beautiful beaches in the Royal Bay of Grouville, we’re close to a fairy-tale castle, and a 5000 year old dolmen. With 4 bedrooms, lounge, diner, luxury kitchen, a piano, lovely mature garden, large patio with BBQ area, a hot tub & a beautiful relaxing feeling! This is a family home. The space A lovely cottage built for railway workers in the 18th century and then extended more recently. With all mod cons, its situated on a quiet country lane, looking over fields on the hill above the beautiful harbour of Gorey which has lots of gorgeous restaurants. It is a home - not just a holiday house - and whether you like relaxing in the hot tub, on the comfortable garden sofas, having a BBQ, or reading in the lounge, everything is here for you. There are toys and games for young children and a large trampoline, a swing, table tennis table and football goals in the garden. There are lots of great beaches and bays close by within 5 minutes drive including Gorey, Rozel, and St Catherine's for sailing. The dramatic north coast is nearby for cliff walks. And you can relax after in the hot tub. If you love food then there are great restaurants nearby from Sumas to Longueville which in our opinion is better than Le Manoir aux Quatre Saisons - Raymond Blancs flagship restaurant . And Michelin starred restaurants like Bohemia. The house can sleep 9 people in it and is probably most comfortable with up to 8 adults or 6 adults and 2 children. There are two x double bedrooms one with a kingsize bed, one bedroom with 2 single beds, or a superking size double bed, and one bedroom which is smaller and has a king size double or a single bed in it . We have a camp bed to make up the 9th person's single bed. As we can configure the sleeping in lots of ways, speak to us so that we can make it fit your requirements. The utility room has a Miele washing machine and tumble drier. The garage is available on request. Guest access The guests can access all of the house and use it as they wish. Other things to note There is a annex to the house which is separately rented out which has a separate entrance and separate garden. There’s space for one car on the drive and one small car in the garage. Please ask if you need the extra space. We often will leave a car in the garage when we go away. If you bring more than this number of cars you will need to park along the road. This is a family home so some of our belongings will be left in the house. Generally this is helpful as for example the kitchen is more than fully equipped and there are more sauces and condiments than you would find in a holiday home. The patio furniture has cushions which are put away each night in the garage to avoid them getting wet.
