Cosy studio in tranquil surroundings

This is a charming, open plan, self-contained studio in a quiet location in a beautiful Oxfordshire village. It boasts a work station, furnished with ultrafast 300mb/s broadband, a table with 2 chairs, a home cinema (with screen and projector including Netflix and SMART TV), bluetooth HiFi and an exceptionally cosy loft double bed, plus modern kitchenette, bathroom and living area with two-seater sofa. Your welcome pack includes milk, tea & coffee, and breakfast items. The space With the exception of the bathroom, the studio is open plan. The mezzanine double bed is reached via a sturdy but narrow wooden staircase, and has a gallery view of the studio below and the adjacent allotments. The modern bathroom has a shower, WC, and basin, with demister mirror and heated towel rail. The kitchen area has all modern conveniences including fridge with small freezer, microwave, Nespresso coffee machine, single ring induction hob, compact oven, kettle, toaster and large sink & draining board. Other useful inclusions: wardrobe with hanging space and shelves, easily controllable, modern radiator with personal adjustable thermostat, hand held vacuum cleaner, iron & ironing board, various cooking utensils, pots & pans, crockery & cutlery, dustpan & brush, basic cleaning products, hairdryer, tea, coffee, sugar, salt, pepper & olive oil. The Studio has an impressive multi media set up - DAB radio, bluetooth connection to a HiFi system and a home cinema with Netflix and Freesat channels. WiFi is an impressive 300MB per second, with fibre broadband installed. Whilst the property does not have a washing machine, use of the home appliances could be arranged for guests wishing to stay for a longer period of time. Guest access Guests can park in the allocated off-street parking spot (on the grass to the left of the main front door) and obtain the key to access the studio from a key-safe (details and code will be sent to you in advance of your stay). Other things to note Don't fancy cooking? The village pub "The Plough" (featuring in the CAMRA Good-Beer-Guide each year) is a short walk away and serves excellent food (closed on Mondays). The Vine And Spice, also in the village, is one of the best Indian restaurants in Oxfordshire and does take-away or dine-in. (check opening times - may also be closed on Mondays). A quaint, village shop is in the next village (about 1.5 miles/ 40 minute walk on footpath) or there are supermarkets in Didcot (less than 10 minutes by car, or 55 minutes on foot along a pleasant cycle path). Please note there is a 2-night minimum stay in the studio. Unfortunately, due to the nature of the studio, it is not possible to accommodate wheelchair users or toddlers. Note that the staircase is narrow (approximately 40cm) and therefore may be restrictive to some. My black lab, Nellie, has access to the garden - she is docile and friendly but please let me know if you are not a fan of dogs and I will endeavour to keep her out of your way! There are also chickens penned at the bottom of the garden that occasionally free roams and will be keen to greet you. Your stable door will ensure any unwelcome, over-friendly animal residents stay out of your space while allowing you to enjoy the fresh country air. If you are arriving after dark you may have more of a challenge locating the property - the village is very dark with limited street lighting.
