La Secrète, family home 10 minutes from Provins

Located in the countryside, our 1841 house is classified in the buildings of France. Hidden from the road, it offers 4 bedrooms. Equipped with all the comforts (Wi-Fi, dishwasher), it offers a cozy living space to spend a quiet holiday 10 minutes from Provins, classified by Unesco thanks to its buildings dating from the Middle Ages, and 1 hour from Paris and Fontainebleau. Its biggest asset? South-facing garden for sunbathing in complete tranquility, with a 3x2m pool for children in summer. The space A briarde type, typical of the Seine-et-Marne, La Secrète is in elevated DRC. It has received a fairly complete renovation and has all the comforts: Wifi, two TVs (one in the living room, one in a top bedroom), dishwasher, washing machine. Its maximum capacity is 8 people + a baby (a crib can be provided). The basement (which has not yet been renovated) includes the boiler, laundry room with a washing machine (laundry capsules are available for long stays). The elevated ground floor offers a 12 m2 bedroom with closet where the crib and ironing kits are stored; a living/dining room; a small kitchen unpretentious but clean and functional (microwave, fridge, dishwasher); the bathroom refurbished as well as the toilet with hanging toilet and shower head. Good to know: The living room sofa is comfortable for seating, but not enough to sleep. The floor has 3 bedrooms, 2 of which are in a row, which is great for the children to play. The plot, facing south, adjoins a railway line with trains passing 4 to 5 times a day (passage time: less than 10 seconds). It also has a closed outbuilding, as it is being renovated. An Intex 3m x 2m above-ground pool, ideal for children, is installed from April/May (depending on the weather) until the end of August/end of September. In the laundry room in the basement, you will find 4 pairs of swim vests. The house also has a carport and an outbuilding not available for rent. The biggest asset of La Secrète is undeniably its large garden facing south, sunny all day and without any vis-à-vis. -------------------------------------------------------------- What you'll like in the area If you love walking in nature, you'll love the fields that can be traveled in all seasons. Discovery tours of the fauna and flora are also organized by the association AGRENABA which takes care of the forest management and the natural riches of the Bassée, a protected natural area. A few kilometers away is also a campsite with pretty lakes where you can swim in summer. If you love churches, many buildings dating back to the 12th century are worth visiting in the area. These cameras are deactivated when guests arrive and reactivated when they depart. The house is also fitted with internal motion detectors to prevent burglaries. This alarm system is remotely deactivated when guests arrive and reactivated when they leave. Other things to note ----------------------------------------------------IMPORTANT: 1. The different sets of keys (gate + house) must be left in their respective lock boxes each time you go out. Thus, they cannot be lost or forgotten. 2. No smoking in the house. ————————————————————- Pool use guide ⚠️ Mandatory supervision Children must always be supervised by an adult when using the pool. ⚠️ Liner protection Do not use sharp or pointed objects in the pool to avoid puncturing the liner. ⚠️ Chlorine dispenser Do not touch the chlorine dispenser in the water and do not remove it. It keeps the water clean and prevents the growth of bacteria. ⚠️ Filtration pump Do not touch the pump's electrical wire. ⚠️ Transparent protective tray The transparent tray that protects the pump must not be used as a step to enter the pool. Climbing on it, jumping on it, or playing with it is not allowed. Please follow these instructions to enjoy the pool safely. ————————————————————- For your comfort: In the kitchen you will find coffee and tea to provide for your immediate needs. This way, you don't have to run to the supermarket after a long drive. Fresh water is also available in the fridge. For parents, a baby bed and a high chair are available (specify this need when making your reservation so that we can set them up and prepare the bed linen). There are also 5 bikes in the garden shed (4 adults and teenagers + 1 child), water guns and bocce balls. On the lingerie side, a spare set of bed linen is provided for each room depending on the length of the stay. Bath towels are available in the bathroom, as well as shower gel and shampoo. Liquid living room reserves are under the kitchen sink as well as cleaning supplies.
