Artist Fisherman - Cabin on the Water #9

This historic cottage was built and used by fishermen in 1855. Several years ago, it was transformed by artists to its present condition. At high tide, the cottage sits just above the water. The space The cottage is located in the harbour, in the centre of Lofoten‘s fishing industry. During the winter months, the fish drying racks are huge attractions. Outside the door of the cottage is the beautiful Ballstad Heia, offering moderate to advanced hiking and spectacular views. A 10 minute walk brings you to the entrance of the fairytale Kyllingdalen park. Guest access You will have access to the entire cottage. Other things to note Please note that the cottage is thoroughly cleaned, but in some areas the paint has been worn away.
