Pool, jacuzzi and cinema room

A superb 5 bedroom, 4 bath, 4800 sq ft home, with 9 metre indoor heated pool & Jacuzzi, cinema room & table tennis is an absolute gem. From £500 per night mid-week & £650 at weekends depending on group size & time of year. The space The Vicarage is only offered to multi-generational family groups with children. Sorry no all adult groups due to planning conditions! Max group size is 14 of no more than 10 adults (18+) and the rest 17 and under, plus up to 3 infants in travel cots. KITCHEN / LIVING ROOM / DINING AREA There's a huge dining conservatory with access through French windows onto the secluded south facing lawn great for barbecues, kids playing and just enjoying the sun. Double doors also lead into the large lounge with lots of seating and large screen TV. Our large kitchen with huge island is fully equipped with all you need to cook (2 ovens and a microwave) or just relax and order your dinner delivered from many of the great local takeaways and pubs. CINEMA ROOM The amazing cinema room has a huge 100 inch screen with access to Sky and Sky Sports, BT Sport, Netflix, Amazon Prime, Disney and Apple TV. A pop-corn maker is provided for that ultimate trip to the movies experience. INDOOR HEATED POOL AND JACUZZI Of course the piece de resistance of The Vicarage is the wonderful 9m by 6m heated pool with a 6 person Jacuzzi. With a constant depth of 1.3 metres, so no deep end, the pool is great for families to safely play games such as water polo or netball. The pool area is accessed via the house so there is no need to go outside, and also opens up onto the lovely terraced area at the back of the house, which is also accessible from the kitchen. TERRACE WITH TABLE TENNIS From the pool you can access a 2nd terrace which is a wonderful sun trap in the afternoon and has a full size table tennis table. 5 BEDROOMS Whichever bedroom you get, you’re sure of a relaxing night’s sleep, as all the beds are wonderfully comfortable and all the bedrooms beautifully presented. The Family Suite sleeps 2 in a king-size bed plus has room for 2 singles for children plus space for a travel cot for a little one (provided). It has private bathroom which has a separate shower and a roll-top bath . There are three more double rooms, one a king-size and 2 are doubles. One of the doubles can also have a put-up bed for a child of 10 or under. The 5th bedroom is a twin. Ideal for 2 younger siblings to share. 2 BATHS, 4 SHOWERS AND 4 LOOS! We’ve already mentioned the ensuite bathroom in the family suite. But to ensure none of your group has to wait long to freshen up, there’s the main family bathroom, with a bath and separate shower. On the ground floor we have a further shower room with WC, plus the pool area has its own shower and WC. HOME OFFICE If you need a separate space in which to concentrate and get some work done, there’s an office with a desk and chair you can use. The house is served by free fast wi-fi, so staying in touch with clients and colleagues as well as friends and family is easy. PARKING There is parking space for up to 6 vehicles right outside the house, so you won’t have far to carry your belongings. THINGS TO DO IN THE AREA The Vicarage is perfectly positioned for days out with the towns and cities of Leeds, Halifax, Bradford and Huddersfield less than 20 minutes away, and popular tourist destinations of York, Homfirth, Hebden Bridge and Haworth all less than 45 minutes away. We also have shops and a post office with a free ATM just a minute away. AMAZING REVIEWS We stayed at The Vicarage Holiday Home for the weekend 1st November to the 3rd 2024 , for my sons 30th..Wow ! What a beautiful Home . We had nine adults and two six year olds , plenty of room for all . The pool and jacuzzi of course was the main attraction, we couldn’t get the children out or me out of the jacuzzi. 🥰. The conservatory was big enough for all of us to dine together, which was lovely . The house was warm and cosy . The cinema room is next level whether you’re watching cartoons or a movie . The house has everything you need and more and Phil the owner is nice and very helpful. Highly recommend, we will definitely be back to this beautiful house. Tracy Cooper on G00gl3, Nov 24 Just returned from a 3 night stay at this fabulous holiday home. We were a group of 9 adults and 3 babies aged 2 and under. The home offers a large amount of space with an amazing heated swimming pool with cover so totally safe for children. The house has a number of areas to relax with a large conservatory to accommodate large groups all eating together . The movie room is a great feature with access to all channels a perfect place to watch sports or a family film. The house is fully equipped with everything you need, bedding and towels for the bathrooms and pool, all kitchen equipment as well as toiletries in all bathrooms.All in all a perfect place to spend some real quality time with family or friends with an Indian and an Italian restaurant both a short walking distance from the house if you want a break from cooking. A gem of a find !!
