B & B in beautiful Norfolk barn

Private room and bathroom, on the ground floor, in a 250-year-old converted barn which is surrounded by open fields. Parking on premises. Use of front terrace if weather is kind. The historic market town of Wymondham, with its famous Abbey, a good selection of pubs and restaurants, shops, cafes, riverside walks and a picturesque railway station, is two miles away. The area is a haven for cyclists, Norwich city is just over 10 miles away and the Norfolk Broads are within easy reach by car. The space The tastefully-decorated bedroom is in the older part of the barn with a distinctive "rubble" brick and flint outer wall, Lloyd Loom chair and vintage curtains. It looks out on to a charming flint-walled back garden. Tea and coffee facilities are provided in the room. Extra blankets are available on request. The bathroom has a spacious shower and heated towel rail. Towels, soap and shampoo are provided. Hairdryer in room. Guest access Continental-style breakfast, which is prepared and served by the hosts, is laid out in the entrance hall or outside on the terrace, weather permitting. Vegan options are available. The front garden with its terrace, tables and chairs is available for guests to use. Breakfast times are from 7.30am to 9am and, weather permitting, can be eaten outside if preferred. Shared space in the barn includes the entrance hall and the corridor leading to the bedroom and bathroom. Kate and Tim would prefer you to leave your outdoor shoes at the front door before walking through the house. No food to be brought in or eaten in the bedroom please. We do not provide guests with a key to the house and because we both work part-time the house will not generally be accessible during the hours of 10am and 4pm, unless there are exceptional circumstances. During your stay Tim and Kate are available to be of help and answer any queries guests may have during their stay. Other things to note We are flexible if guests want to arrive before the earliest check-in time of 4pm. The accommodation available is not suitable for babies or children under 3 years because of breakable objects in the shared spaces, which, theoretically, could be a danger to small children.
