Trewarden - The Treehouse

A romantic retreat in a tranquil. rustic setting, situated on the side of a steep, wooded valley. The cleanest air you'll ever breathe - plus lots of bees and butterflies, (no weed-killers or agri-chemicals used here) but there may be more weeds growing too! The space The Treehouse is an open-plan, loft-style, timber-clad cabin. It comes complete with a sauna, walk-in shower, bath and wash basin, superking-sized bed, stereo system and piano. Set amidst the trees away from the lane, it overlooks a tranquil wooded valley, off the beaten track, but only 2 miles from the beach. On the edge of this natural, deciduous woodland away from the roads, it is the cleanest and healthiest air you will ever breathe, and the wild garden may be a little ungroomed! It is more laid-back, boho North Cornish small-holding than perfectly manicured picket fence and lawn-stripes! Formerly a large barn, the Treehouse ( weighing in at a whopping 22ft x 40ft), being set away from the main house of Trewarden, is completely private. Ideal for writers, or musicians, it has its own piano, Smart TV, plus a 4 speaker classic stereo system with a record and CD collection to delve into. Listen to the sounds of your choice while having a relaxing bath, or roast in the Sauna, rinse off in the powerful shower, and then sit outside under the moonlight by the barbecue, lit up by the outside lights. It is warm in winter, with a cosy wood burner, while being light and airy in Summer. The perfect place for a dog as there is a garden next to the copse outside the back door. Please arrange with us in advance if you would like to bring a dog as there will be an additional charge, and it will be subject to prior approval. Guest access The rustic garden is private and self contained with its own portable BarBQ. It can be approached from the drive past the main house if your car is very low slung. There is a dedicated lower drive for private access. Other things to note There is a continental Sauna room, bathroom and a vintage vinyl or CD collection to enjoy listening to on a state of the art sound system... and a Smart TV. NB Included are pots and pans and cooking utensils but not condiments, ie, salt, pepper, sugar or oil, as there are too many variants to choose from!
