The location is just perfect - in the center of Povoa de Varzim, 5 mins walk to the beach. Supermarket, butchery, fish shop - all in the same building. Surrounded by restaurants, coffee shops and bars this place offers a wide range of choices for any type of the food. Hospitality of the owners - Antonio and Paula - is beyond expectations. They always replied immediately, provided us with everything we needed, gave us perfect suggestions where to eat, how to get to certain places, etc etc and were very caring. Appartment is super clean and freshly renovated, fully equipped and has everything needed for very comfortable stay - fridge, diswasher, washing machine, cooker, microwave, oven, iron, hairdrier,etc etc. Bedsheets and towels are changed by the owners throughout the duration of the stay very frequently. Beach is 5 mins walk from the building, though we didn't swim because ocean was very cold for us. Right opposite the building there is an arena for corrida, next to it there is a hug sport complex with tennis courts, squash courts, football field, basketball and volleyball playgrounds and indoor and outdoor pools. For those who doesnt like cold ocean water it's convenient to use pools. Day access is around 7 euro. There is a metro station in Povoa with direct access to the center of Porto wthin 30 mins. Metro is very convenient, 24 hours ticket for metro plus all the public transport in Porto is just 7 euro. Over the weekend metro works round the clock. We highly reccomend this place for families with kids or groups of friends, very good value for money with a variety of options for entertainment and leisure. Close to metro with access to Porto 25 km from Porto airport Possibility to take underwater trips or diving courses with special conditions for our guests.
