Dating back to the 1800's this delightful, semi detached mews holiday cottage nestles behind the cobbled streets of the market town of Guisborough. The cobbled streets are lined with curio shops, inns and tea rooms and just a short stroll from your door. Dominated by the priory ruins founded by Robert de Brus II in 1119, this is an ideal location for exploring the rugged yet beautiful Heritage Coast of North Yorkshire. Commence your journey at the Victorian seaside town of Saltburn, winding your way along the coastal road to smugglers coves and historic seaside towns such as Whitby with Scarborough, Filey and Bridlington a little further east. It's only a short drive into the North Yorkshire Moors National Park and the quaint little villages. Guisborough is the gateway to the whole of North Yorkshire and its many attractions. Shops pubs and restaurant within 50 yards. Ground floor: Lounge and kitchen. First floor: 1 double bedroom with en-suite bathroom. The cottage is gas centrally heated. Fuel, power, bed linen and towels are included. There is Free WiFi, and smart T.V's installed in both the lounge and the bedroom, each providing a good range of T.V. channels and radio reception. The kitchen is well equipped with a washing machine, fridge, freezer, microwave and gas cooker. Outside on the patio there is outdoor furniture and a barbecue. On street parking is available. Sorry, no pets. No smoking inside the cottage. Guest access Outside of the cottage is a private walled paved area with raised flower beds and a teak picnic table. The area is illuminated by sodium vapour lighting throughout the night. A retractable washing line is available for drying. Other things to note We are so lucky to be conveniently located. Private quiet yard, but opening up onto the main shopping street. Push your trolley from Morrisons, into the secure private yard, then right up to your front door.
