Chata u Jezera

The cottage is located on the shores of Milčanský Pond, about 13 minutes by car from Česká Lípa in a beautiful pine-birch forest. We discovered it by accident and it was love at first sight. It has undergone a major renovation to be exactly as we imagined it, and now that everything is done, we are happy to share it, because we want everyone to have the opportunity to draw energy from this beautiful corner of Bohemia. The space The cottage is situated in the beautiful surroundings of a cottage area, while being surrounded by nature and mature trees, and just a short walk from the pond. There is a private jetty and a small boat, which you can use to explore the area around the pond and perhaps go to the campsite on the opposite shore to have a draught beer and an ice cream. The view of the pond's surface has an amazing atmosphere, and you can best enjoy it with a glass of wine on the large terrace, which adjoins the living area directly. The terrace is a great retreat during the day; here you can enjoy a concert of birdsong, watch frolicking squirrels and, if you're lucky, you might even spot a hare hopping around the cottage. The cottage offers rest and relaxation for 4 people. In the main living area, you will find a fully equipped kitchen with basic ingredients, followed by a dining room with a living area and a fireplace for romantic evenings. Wi-Fi is, of course, available if you need to stay connected. You can enjoy the evenings here with a view of nature and the crackling of the fire in the fireplace. The main bedroom is located upstairs, where you will find four full-size beds. On the ground floor, you will also find a bathroom with a shower and, of course, hot water. The main source of heat in the winter months is the fireplace, which nicely heats the entire cottage. On really cold days, there is also the option of using underfloor heating. We'd be very happy if you visited us with children, but we want to be fair, so we must mention that there are a few restrictions, especially for young children. This concerns the absence of a railing at the main staircase to the upper floor. Everything can be seen very clearly in the photos. Therefore, please consider carefully whether to visit with small children, or expect that increased supervision will be required. There are plenty of interesting hiking trails in the Kokořínsko region around the cottage settlement, both on foot directly from the cottage and within a short driving distance. There are also many cycling trails here. Cycling enthusiasts can lock their bikes right in the cottage. Dogs are allowed for an extra fee (max. 1 dog).
