Rytne - historic farm, amazing views and hikes

Rytne is a 13th century farm with stunning views of the Dalsfjord. The farm is located 230 meters above sea level at the foot of Storehesten/Kvamshesten and Fjordkysten Regional and Geopark - a Unesco Global Geopark! Here you can experience real Norwegian cultural heritage by staying in a historic house - with rooms dating back to the Middle Ages. Here you can find tranquility, enjoy the views and experience a spectacular landscape with fjords and mountains in the immediate vicinity. For boat rental/fishing, contact "Dalsfjord Fiskecamp". Welcome! The space The house consists of three parts; a small house to the north, the main house to the south and a small house to the east, as an extension of the main house. In the small house to the north, "The Bath House" is a large bathroom, laundry room and a loft with a queen size bed (bedroom 5). In this house you will also find bed linen and towels for rent. The main house consists of a large hallway, kitchen, living room, a large bedroom downstairs ("Blonderommet", bedroom 3) and a room (bedroom 4) with two single beds in the attic. To the east is "The Middle Age Rooms", with two bedrooms (bedrooms 1 and 2 in the pictures) and a shared bathroom. One room has a queen size double bed, the other room has a single bed. There is access to the rooms both on the north side and south side of the house. On the front of the house is a terrace with stone slabs and a lovely view over the village and fjord. Guest access Guests have their own outdoor area and garden with seating and the possibility of barbecuing. Other things to note Please indicate when booking if you want to rent bed linen and towels: Bed linen can be rented for NOK 200 per person, towels for NOK 100 per person or both bed linen and towels for NOK 250 per person.
