The Carpenter Hostel - Entire Apartment 3rd Floor 2

The carpenter has a lot of family history and belongs to the oldest houses in Grästorp. We have repaired the house in old and new style. There is a nice entrance with wonderful old original wallpapers and the kitchen interior is historic but freshly painted. In most rooms, we have developed the original wooden floors and painted the tensioning fabrics. We rent out an apartment where it includes two bedrooms (4 beds), kitchen, common room, shower, wc. We can put in two extra beds for children. No animals are allowed. We have a big garden. The space The Carpenter is a house built in 1929 that we, Kria, Pär and I Gunnel bought in 2018. The carpenter has a lot of family history and belongs to the oldest houses in Grästorp. Unfortunately, the house has been decaying for many years but now we have renovated the facade with the help of an older bricklayer with a lot of knowledge about old houses. We have also with the help of local craftsmen and own work renovated the apartments in the house and also the basement. But we have done it in a mixture of new and old. We rent out floor 2 where you come using a staircase. You get a private entrance with two bedrooms, living room, kitchen, shower and toilet. We have renovated the floor where we kept the original hall from 1929 and the 50's kitchen, developed the old wooden floors, painted the canopy and walls and furnished with furniture that is made in the yard's warehouse. We have renovated the shower room and put in a new toilet and sink. We have also purchased 4 beds. We also have a large screen where you can connect via chromecast from your phone. In the basement you can study the cheese layer with scales and accounting box. There was a movement in the 1950s. There is also a shelter there. In the basement there are also washing machines and dryers that you can borrow for free. You can enjoy the large garden with fruit trees and berry bushes that you can pick freely from. You can also settle into our outdoor furniture, rest in the hammock, and use the barbecue. You can play kubb, football, throw arrows, etc. Guest access You have your own access to the entire middle floor with two bedrooms, kitchen, common room , shower and toilet. In the living room there is a large screen where you can connect your computer/mobile via chromecast. For the children there are board games, puzzles, comic books, mandalas. You share the laundry room that's in the basement. Also the garden is shared with the guests on floors 1 and 3. We invite all guests for coffee and tea.
