Cosy modern cottage in the heart of West Scholes, Queensbury within walking distance of lovely footpaths and a great dog friendly pub. The property is over three floors. It has two bedrooms- 1 double and 1 king sized bed, a bathroom with a shower over the bath, two sofas in the living room and a log burner. The small paved back yard is fully fenced in and has a bench should the weather be nice enough to sit outside and enjoy the views. The space My cottage is situated in the heart of West Scholes just on the outskirts of Queensbury. There is a lovely country pub in walking distance- The Junction Inn. The cottage is over 3 floors. It is situated on the road side. The area has lots of wonderful walks to explore and we are close to Thornton (birthplace of the Bronte’s), Haworth and should you wish to travel further we are only 40 minutes from Skipton- the gateway to the Yorkshire Dales. The house has a washer/dryer, kettle, microwave, toaster, oven and hob. All cutlery, cookware and crockery is provided. Basics such as tea, coffee, sugar, oil, salt and pepper are provided for your use. The living room has both a 2 and 3 seater Chesterfield sofa as well as a dining table and 4 chairs. The smart television has Netflix/Amazon prime so you can access your account whilst you are here. There are 2 XL throws for you to snuggle up on the sofa with. The property has WIFI. Upstairs there are two bedrooms- one double and one king size. The bathroom features a shower over the bath. Towels and bed linen are provided and extras are available should you need them. Basic toiletries are provided should you need them. I am meticulous about cleaning and follow all the guidelines provided by Airbnb to ensure that guests are kept safe. Check in/out is contactless to reduce the risk further. For stays over 7 days a clean and linen change will be offered Guest access Full use of the property and the enclosed back yard Other things to note The kitchen contains all the appliances, crockery and cutlery that you would expect. The heating is controlled by a smart thermostat at the top of the stairs, please adjust to make yourself comfortable. The house does have two sets of stairs- the first set are narrow and low ceilinged steep old stone steps which are carpeted with a handrail- you may need to watch your head if you are tall. The second are carpeted with a handrail but open to the living room. There is a retractable baby gate at the top of these stairs should you need to use it. Please consider the above if you have issues with mobility or have young children There is a log burner in the living room, wood is not provided but can be purchased locally. The WiFi password is on the WiFi section of the listing or on the router in the larger bedroom Spare towels are in the cupboard in the bathroom along with basic toiletries.
