Loxley's Lodge - Sherwood Forest getaway

Self-catering accommodation for up to 6 people in the heart of Sherwood Forest, home of Robin Hood. Loxley's Lodge is located approximately 1 mile down a single track lane off the A614 trunk road. It is self-contained within its own secure grounds and affords easy access to a variety of tourist attractions, activities and a large network of cycle tracks and woodland walks whilst also offering a secluded, private and peaceful base from which to enjoy the forest. The space The internal log beams create a unique and tranquil atmosphere whilst the underfloor heating and log burner will ensure you stay cosy and warm in the coldest of winters. A complimentary bag of logs is provided but further bags can be purchased for £4 per bag (cost price). The lodge has 3 bedrooms with an en-suite attached to the master. There is a SMART TV in the living area and in all 3 bedrooms. All have DVD players (Blu-ray in the living area) and all have Freesat with the exception of the upstairs bedroom. Two of the bedrooms can be arranged as either twins or doubles (Superkings) whilst the master bedroom features a bespoke handmade character Kingsize log bed. There is a fully equipped kitchen incorporating a built in oven and induction hob, an eye-level microwave, fridge-freezer, washer-dryer and dishwasher. The main bathroom has a bath with shower above and there is also a walk-in shower in the en-suite. A travel cot & high chair are available on request at no extra charge. The lodge boasts Fibre to the Premises WiFi at no extra cost. Outside there is ample private parking for 3-4 cars, a 6 person hot-tub and a covered seating / dining area. The lodge can be rented with or without use of the hot tub (please send an enquiry to obtain a discounted price if wanting to rent without the hot tub). 2 night stays are also available but generally only without use of the hot tub. The lodge is decorated for Christmas from early December. Under-occupancy discounts may be available subject to requirements. Please send an enquiry prior to booking if you would like a quote. Other things to note *** The lodge is situated in a quiet, peaceful location with neighbouring properties in the vicinity. I therefore respectfully ask that guests be mindful of this when enjoying the outside space, particularly at night. *** **PETS** Up to 3 pets are welcome at no additional charge. Additional pets are charged at £10 per stay per pet and must be notified and agreed in advance. The fee for additional pets is payable separately and should be paid directly to the host via bank transfer as it is not included in the amount requested by Airbnb. If you would like your pets to have access to the bedrooms, please either being your own bedding or throws to protect my bedding. Otherwise, please do not allow pets in the bedrooms. As pets are catered for in the welcome basket provided, please be sure to include details of any pets you intend to bring with you at the time of booking to ensure appropriate items are provided for them in the welcome basket. **HOT TUB** Please read and observe the hot tub safety rules displayed next to the hot tub prior to using it.
