Fabulous cottage in Coxwold, the perfect bolthole!

Braecote is a peaceful, warm, and welcoming cottage in the picture perfect village of Coxwold. With wide grass verges, honey coloured stone houses and a traditional country pub just up the road, Coxwold is one of the prettiest villages in North Yorkshire. York, Harrogate, Helmsley and Malton are close by, the North York Moors, Yorkshire Dales and east coast all within easy reach. Newburgh Priory is just up the road and Michelin starred Black Swan at Oldstead a short drive away. The space The cottage is deceptively spacious and a perfect bolthole for two. It's warm and cosy in the winter and a cool retreat in the summer. There’ll be tea, coffee, milk and biscuits when you arrive - and a few extras longer stays. Relax in front of the wood-burner in the sitting room with a good book or watch a DVD. A comfy king-size bed will ensure you have a good nights sleep, wake refreshed to views over to the Hambleton Hills. Enjoy listening to the birds and the church clock chime in the sunny south facing cottage garden or watch the bats and the stars at night. There is space to store bikes at the back of the cottage. The cottage is suitable for a babe in arms but please bring your own travel cot/bedding. Guest access The cottage has its own off road parking space for one car on the lane at the rear of the property. Entry to the cottage is via the back door. There's a step down from the garden to the back door and an outside light for when it's dark. I will email directions and access information the week before your stay. Other things to note Please inform us if a friend or relative is coming to visit or stay while you're there. All linens, central heating, WiFi, and the first basket of logs are included (October-April).
