Located on a small game farm, just minutes from Johannesburg and surrounding suburbs, our unique Bushveld lodge atmosphere, has guests yearning for a longer stay and we are privileged to have many guest back on return visits. The space Our farm is located within a valley with 24 hour security access control. There are six chalets, built in thatch and stone collected from the farm and each one is individually decorated according to an African theme Units are fully equipped for self catering purposes with ceiling fans and heaters. Game roams freely around the lodge and guests will be greeted by springbuck, blesbuck, nyala, impala, duiker and more...... Guests can make use of the swimming pool, trampoline and outside areas. The chalets have their own designated braai areas, a favourite custom in South Africa! On request, guests can go on a hike on the farm whilst being accompanied by one of our members of staff. This way, we can tell you a bit more about the animal- and birdlife on the farm There is also a chapel on the lodge for guests needing some quiet time. To ensure the privacy of our guests, we do not accept day visitors. However, guests checked into the lodge, are welcome to receive guests. (T's and C's apply ) Other things to note During the summer months, we do experience high temperatures and Highveld thunderstorms. It is advisable to bring along a light jacket and trousers in this season. Mosquitos are present, but we do provide our guests with a repellent cream in their units as well mosquito mats which are put in a special electrical unit at night by guests. Remember your sunblock and hat! Our winters are a different kind of chilly! We provide blankets and hot water bottles. Please bring along your warm winter clothes!
