Other things to note The San Nicola area offers everything you need within walking distance, including the "Al Mercato" supermarket, a kiosk, and an excellent ice cream parlor. For a larger grocery run, you can go to the nearby towns of Trabia and Altavilla Milicia, or go as far as Bagheria, where you will find large supermarkets such as Lidl and Eurospin. ​For your meals, the marina area offers fantastic pizzas, but we absolutely recommend that you try "Maccarone": a very simple, traditional restaurant where you can enjoy the freshest fish, but for which it is essential to book well in advance.
