Hafjell - Lovely modern cabin

Welcome to our beautiful mountain retreat! Note that you need a four-wheel drive car to get here in the winter. Our cabin has all the conveniences you need for a relaxing holiday. One bathroom with shower and sauna. A second toilet and a washer in the laundryroom. Four bedrooms will be available for guests. Three with queen beds (150cm), and one with two single beds. The kitchen is directly connected to the livingroom. The space The Chalet is situated in Liesetra, just north of the Hafjell Alpine facilities. We are hight up, and have a gorgeous view of the mountains and valley. Cross-country skiing is right outside the door, and from there you have miles and miles of trails in the mountains. To get to the lifts for alpine skiing, there is a 10 min drive down to the valley. The mountain is beautiful in the summertime as well. With tons of tracking routes and both biking trails and downhill biking facilities., The Village of Øyer is a 10 min drive down to the valley, and has some shopping, golf, a small amusement park for small children, and you will also find the gondola and lift for the slopes here. A bit outside Øyer you will find the Fairy Tale Amusement park “Hunderfossen” 15 min south of Øyer is the city of Lillehammer. A lovely little city, especially in the summer. The Lillehammer and Øyer area has a lot of attractions, especially outdoors, both summer and winter. Driving from Oslo Airport to the chalet takes about two hours. NOTE: You do need a car to get here and to get around. The road up the mountain can be challenging, especially the last 30 meters up to the cabin is very steep and curvy, as it sits up on a hill. In the winter you do need a 4wd car. This is our private holiday home that we have decided to rent occasionally. We love it to death and we hope you will too! Strictly no smoking and no pets. We provide linen and towels, and you will arrive to made beds. The final cleaning of surfaces is included in the price, but we do require you to leave the place tidy, take out all trash, do the dishes and strip the beds. Our home is not suited for children under the age of 6.
