Holiday farm / Group accomodation at Eibergen

The Ruiterskamp is a holiday farm in Eibergen in the Achterhoek in the Netherlands. The farmhouse is very suitable for a family or families that have a vacation together. When used as a group accommodation the house provides room for 12 persons maximal. We have 12 sleeping places in six bedrooms. The farm is an excellent starting point for walks, bicycle trips canoe trips. Please ask about the tariffs for your group. The space The Ruiterskamp is an original Achterhoek farm built in 1912. The living part is recently renovated en adjusted to become a group accomodation. At the restoration, typical and authentical elements were kept. Like the chimney with the old woodstove in the living-kitchen, the floors with the original tiles in black and white design, the chimney in the actual kitchen and the original woodstructure painting of doors and frames. Thus, the visitors gets the feeling of living like the farmers at the beginning of the past century. With the restoration, the house was adapted to the conveniences of this era. Sanitary facilities are new and the kitchen is fully new equipped in a suitable manner. The farm lies at the river Berkel and guests may start a canoetrip from the house or spent some time fishing. It is the first building outside the village of Eibergen and you only need to cross the wooden bridge over the river, walk through the park and you are in the village center where you find a good offer of shops. The farm is an excellent starting point for walks, bicycle trips, canoe trips or even horseriding. Because of the location of the farm near the road N18, you can easily visit villages and cities like Winterswijk, Enschede, Zutphen and Doetinchem.
