Lovingly converted workshop in former stable building

The apartment is located in a 100-year-old barn of an idyllic village of 26 inhabitants surrounded by (almost) unspoiled nature on the edge of the Lüneburg Heath. It's an area without superlatives. Everything is very normal without major attractions. But this is exactly what we really appreciate about this area. Lots of nature, wide views and little distraction. It is a place where you can come to rest and draw strength. The space The small, tranquil village of Haarstorf is located between Lüneburg and Uelzen (25 minutes away by car) and can only be reached by car or bike. There is no public transport here. But there is a lot of peace, a lot of nature, a lot of animals, clear starry skies and dark nights (because there is no street lighting here either), beautiful walking paths, a lot of forest and just as many excursion possibilities. A place to pause and perceive nature! The apartment is the only residential unit in this huge barn, which was built over 100 years ago according to the Prussian model. Due to its location in the southern part of the barn, it is always bright and filled with light. Through the large windows you have a wonderful, unobstructed view into the distance to the east and south. Despite the high ceilings, the clay wall and wooden floor contribute to a warm and cozy atmosphere. And when wind and rain sweep through the barn from November onwards, the Swedish stove ensures cozy comfort. The apartment is divided into a large dining and living area. The kitchen is fully equipped. Directly by the bedroom is a small, small, simple bathroom with shower and toilet. In summer, deck chairs, a hammock and/or a picnic blanket are available, with which you can find a beautiful and quiet place on the large farm grounds, the adjacent meadows or a small beech forest. A retreat away from all the hustle and bustle. On the farm there are chickens, goats, horses, cats, rabbits and dogs - and now and then a few cows. You are also welcome to bring your own horse. For skate enthusiasts, there is a skateboard ramp in the stable, which can be used by arrangement. Bicycles can also be provided. Solid and simple but suitable for riding. For this we ask for a small fee of 5 euros per day. We'll help you every step of the way and look forward to seeing you soon! P.S.: Since the apartment is located on a large barn, it is unfortunately not possible for us to convince the resident marten (lovingly baptized Martina by guests) to avoid the beams above the apartment (in the outdoor area). Therefore, it always happens that you can hear it through the ceiling. What we credit him with is that he takes good care of our chickens and we have not had a single loss from the neighboring martens (for this he also gets an egg every day) and he is in no way interested in car cables :)...
