Lakeside Guest House, Chycina 24

Tucked away in the Lubusz lake district of western Poland you will find a lovely wooden chalet style house, with three bedrooms, accommodating up to 8 people. There is one double bedroom, one bedroom with two single beds and a balcony room with one double and two single beds. The house has 1 shower room and 1 washroom each with a WC. The space We are located, south-facing, on a peninsula at the north end of Lake Długie in the Lubusz Province of northwest Poland, one and a half kilometres into the forest from the village of Chycina. The house is surrounded on three sides by the beautiful lake and has forest behind, to the north. We have fishing boats, kayaks, an open canoe and bicycles available for hire. Guest access There are many interesting and fun things to do here. Local restaurants, Fishing, Canoeing & Kayaking - with marked routes, Birding, Cycling - with marked routes, Relaxing, Incredible WWII Bunkers with 34 km of tunnels (guided tours available), Fire Pit Dining, Castles, 17th C. Churches, Museums, Superb Greenlaning with your 4x4, Abundant Wildlife, Wild Mushrooming, Bat Colonies, Swimming, Great Photography Opportunities, Walking - with marked routes and even Astronomy, to name but a few. 3 Cities are within 2 hrs. drive. They are: Poznań to the east, Gorzów to the north and Zielona Gora to the south. All offer shopping, dining and activities/attractions as one might expect. Other things to note Please note: We operate a 'No Smoking Policy' in the house. However, there are covered areas outdoors for anyone wishing to smoke. Please also note: We have two very friendly and well behaved dogs living on site. We are English & Polish, from Brighton/Gorzow. Languages spoken: English and Polish but all nationalities are welcome.
