Remodeled 5 bedroom 3 full bath West San Jose home. This home offers a warm and welcoming space for large groups, in addition to an incredibly convenient location near the intersection of 280 and Saratoga. Walk to Mitsuwa Supermarket--5 minute drive to Apple. Two bedrooms downstairs and 3 upstairs. 8 actual beds. Three full bathrooms--one with a bathtub. We allow dogs only. There will be a $75 per pet fee. Please check for breed and size restrictions before booking. The space ✨ Our Hosting Standard Fully Equipped Kitchens. Enjoy a like home space featuring plates, glassware, and cookware. We include thoughtful extras like rice makers, a variety of coffee options (Keurig, drip pot, and French press), an electric kettle, a toaster, and a blender. Missing something? Just ask! Restful Bedrooms. Sleep soundly with at least two pillows per guest in various styles. You’ll find plenty of layers for comfort, including fleece blankets, down-alternative duvets, coverlets, and cozy throws. 🏡 Respecting the Home In accordance with Airbnb policy, we ask guests to treat our home with care and leave it in a tidy condition. No long chore lists here—just a simple request to be a respectful guest. ⚡ Energy Mindfulness To support California’s energy conservation efforts, we ask guests to maintain mindful thermostat settings: Winter: 68–70°F during the day (lower at night). Summer: 75–78°F during the day. (The coastal/mountain air typically cools the home perfectly at night!) Note: To keep our rates low, we cover up to $10/day in energy costs. Excessive use (such as running AC/heat at extreme temperatures) may result in additional charges for the surplus. 🛏️ Flexible Sleeping Arrangements Please review our photos and captions for specific bedroom layouts. For larger groups, we can provide extra mattresses or air mattresses for common areas. Note: Common area beds are not pre-made unless requested in advance. We provide plenty of linens for DIY setup, or our staff can handle it for you with timely notice. 🧼 Cleaning & The Living Wage We are proud to pay our cleaning team a Living Wage. Your cleaning fee ensures a sanitized, fresh home for your arrival. To keep this fee low, please note it covers a standard "turnover" (linens and sanitization) rather than a deep clean. Additional fees apply for: Unwashed dishes, greasy stoves, moving furniture, pet messes, trash left outside bins, or odor removal (smoke/food). Long Stays: For bookings exceeding 3 weeks, a mandatory mid-stay cleaning and linen refresh is required every 21 days at an additional fee. BBQ Grill. A gas BBQ is available for your enjoyment. To keep your stay flexible, we do not include a guaranteed propane level or professional cleaning in the base rate. The "Ready-to-Grill" Option: For $75, we will provide a full propane tank and ensure the grill is professionally cleaned and prepped for your arrival (advance notice required). The "DIY" Option: You are welcome to use the BBQ as-is and refill the propane tank at the nearby gas station or hardware store. Guest access You have full access to the entire house. It is for you alone. There is no on-site host living in the home. We do live close by and can be in the home within a few minutes if necessary. Our neighbors are friendly, but we ask that you respect that they live in the neighborhood all the time and appreciate quiet guests. Other things to note ✅ ID & REGISTRATION Verified Guests Only: The person booking must be staying at the property unless you have an Airbnb for Work Account (no third-party bookings). ID Requirements: All adults entering the home must have an Airbnb ID Verified account or provide a photo ID. Profile photos must match the guests arriving. Guest Count: Only registered guests are allowed on the property. No outside visitors, gatherings, or parties. Please ensure your guest count is accurate for correct pricing. ⚡ ENERGY & THERMOSTAT Guidelines: To support CA conservation, please set thermostats to 68–70°F (Winter) and 75–78°F (Summer). Energy Cap: We cover up to $10/day. Excessive use (running units at extreme temps or with windows open) will result in surplus charges. Space Heaters: Never leave space heaters unattended or running while sleeping. 🧼 CLEANING & CARE Tidy Stay: We don't ask for long chore lists, but please leave the home in a tidy condition. Additional Fees: Extra charges apply for large amounts of unwashed dishes, greasy stoves, moving furniture, animal messes or odor removal (smoke/food). Additional cleaning will be $75 per hour. Long Stays: Bookings over 21 days require a mandatory mid-stay cleaning/linen refresh at the guest's expense. Some extended stays may require multiple additional cleanings. The cost will be $150 per occurrance. 🤫 NEIGHBORHOOD ETIQUETTE Quiet Hours: 10:00 PM – 7:00 AM. Security: A security camera with sound is located at the front entrance/pathway and will be active during your stay. 📦 MAIL & DELIVERIES No Mail: Do not use the home address for mail or packages. This is strictly prohibited to prevent tenancy claims. Please use a local Amazon Locker or PO Box or meet your delivery driver on the street. Any boxes must be flattened and recycled. 🛏️ SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS Review photos for bedroom layouts. Extra mattresses for common areas are available upon request. Common area beds are DIY setup unless requested in advance. ⚠️ Note: Violations of these rules may result in immediate cancellation of your booking without a refund.
