Peaceful, historic, and ideal for countryside escapes. The space Manners is a self-contained, first-floor apartment accessed via an external stone staircase. It is situated above the indoor swimming pool (which is sound-insulated, though occasional noise may be heard). The accommodation includes: – An open-plan sitting/dining room and well-equipped kitchen – Master bedroom with antique mahogany furniture and a four-poster bed – Twin bedroom – Modern shower room and WC Outside, at the foot of the steps, you’ll find a secure, enclosed terrace with private hot tub (8am–10pm) and outdoor furniture – ideal for relaxing after a day exploring the Peak District. How the Swimming Pool Works Each of our 9 properties can book one private one-hour swim session per day, available to book exactly 24 hours in advance (e.g. 16:30 Friday can be booked from 16:30 Thursday). If a session is not booked, it remains unavailable—we do not offer shared or drop-in sessions. The pool is for private use only by advance booking. Second sessions are not available. Guest access Guests have access to the entire 2-bedroom apartment, along with a private, gated terrace featuring a hot tub and outdoor furniture (available 8am–10pm). You’ll also enjoy: – Exclusive use of the indoor heated pool (bookable online daily) – Parking for 2 cars – EV charging available (bookable in advance; fee payable) – Starlink WiFi – Full kitchen with oven, 4-ring hob, fridge freezer, microwave, air fryer & dishwasher – LCD TV, DVD and CD player – 1 cot and highchair (guests to bring cot linen) – 1 well-behaved dog under 25kg welcome – please enquire for pet policy before booking Other things to note Please note, the apartment is situated above the indoor swimming pool. While the pool is sound-insulated, some noise may occasionally be heard during use. Guests staying at the apartment can enjoy one hour of private use per day of the indoor pool and sauna at nearby Harthill Hall. Time slots must be booked online, starting 24 hours in advance. The pool operates strictly on a private booking basis—there are no communal or shared swim sessions.
