The Cheerful Zen Room

A clean, comfortable bedroom, with a Queen size bed and roomy closet, north of Durango, close to Trimble Hot Springs and the ski area. Roll-away available for traveling friends if needed: The space A very unique and nurturing, simple and low-key household! The room is north-facing, quiet and dark at night, conducive for a good nights sleep! Guest access I have a second fridge available for my guests to put their groceries and a shared kitchen, available for cooking. I also have laundry facilities for $3 per load . During your stay This is fluid and flexible depending on your schedule and needs, as well as ours. We are almost always available through the Airbnb messenger app. Please communicate through the app first before reaching out to our individual phones. If you call or text, please include both of us. Other things to note We love our fur-babies and keep the house quite clean, considering their comings and goings into the yard and back. We have a couple dog-savvy kitties (8 yr old sisters - Cleo and Stollen), a 15 yr old Pug named Molly, a 4 year old Bernese Mt. Dog named Justin, a black Shepherd/Lab mutt named Kuma and a 1 yr old Rhodesian Ridgeback named Bear, who love to interact with our guests. My son is staying for the summer in my yoga studio behind the house and has a 1.5 yr old Aussi mix named Winnie. If you are not comfortable around friendly dogs (# varies w guests, as we are doggo friendly), our home may not be a match for you. We strive to provide a welcoming and safe environment for all of our guests that feels like a home away from home. As far as our interaction with our guests, this is fluid and flexible depending on your schedule and needs, as well as ours.
