The upper floor, reserved for guests, offers you a small 45-m² (484-ft²) apartment overlooking the garden. You will be surprised by a refined breakfast with old-fashioned charm, generous, tasty, with forgotten childhood flavors. Breakfast, served in the garden when the weather permits, is VERY gourmet, made from natural products from the garden, the chicken coop or the nearby market. The house offers a single guest room located upstairs: large bedroom (140 cm bed), adjoining living room: TV area (sofa, desk, internet, DVD player), reading area: second sofa and a mini-kitchen (microwave, dishes, kettle, refrigerator, etc.), bathroom with toilet and large balcony. You are completely independent, but nothing prevents you from coming downstairs to chat over a hot verbena tea in winter or a sangria in the garden in summer. Downstairs, you have a large living room with a piano and fireplace, a well-stocked library and two gardens at your disposal. Property completely fenced. During your stay The house is located in the heart of the Landes de Gascogne, from where you can enjoy the traditional tourist attractions—forest, lakes, ocean, heritage, and culture—but also set off on more unusual discoveries—springs and fountains, old stone buildings and chapels, bees and honey, and more. You can also choose a themed stay tailored to your preferences from the range on offer: an invigorating walk in the forest, a guided tour of a small Romanesque chapel and an explanation of its 16th-century frescoes, a discovery of fountains with healing waters, an encounter with the “Dames Grises” (Gray Ladies) – common cranes that winter 10 minutes from the house at the magnificent Lac d’Arjuzanx site, or Landes cuisine: confits, foie gras, and jams.
