The upper floor, reserved for guests, offers a small 45 m2 apartment: bedroom, living room, bathroom, large balcony overlooking the garden. You will be surprised by a refined breakfast with old-fashioned charm, generous, tasty, with forgotten childhood scents. Possibility of themed stays (minimum two days): nature walk in the pignada (Landes forest and lagoons), heritage (washerooms and chapels), healing fountains, cranes, Landes cuisine... Perfect for couples, solo travelers, families (with kids) and four-legged friends. Breakfast is included in the service and served in the garden when the weather permits; it is VERY gourmet, made from natural products from the garden, the hen house or the nearby market. The house offers a single guest room located upstairs reserved for guests with the possibility of a separate entrance. Large bedroom (140 bed), adjoining living room: TV area (sofa, desk, internet, DVD player), reading area: second sofa (convertible into 140 extra bed) and a mini kitchen (microwave, dishes, kettle, fridge...), bathroom with toilet and large balcony. You are totally independent but nothing prevents you from coming down to chat over a hot verbena in winter or a sangria in the garden in summer. At your disposal, downstairs, a large living room with piano and fireplace, a well-stocked library, a kitchen to share and two gardens. Fully fenced property. During your stay The house is located in the heart of the Landes de Gascogne, from where you can explore the traditional tourist visits: forest, lakes, ocean, heritage and culture, but also set off for more unusual discoveries: springs and fountains, old stones and chapels, bees and honey... You can also choose a themed stay composed according to your tastes from the range offered: energizing walk in the forest, guided tour of a small Romanesque chapel and reading of 16th century frescoes, discovering fountains with healing waters, meeting with the Grey Ladies, the common cranes winter 10 minutes from the house on the magnificent site of the Arjuzanx lakes, Landes cuisine: confits, foie gras and jams. I am a Greeter, to put it simply... a storyteller of the country, so I favor the simplicity and authenticity of encounters and sharing to help you discover the Landes off the beaten track. Other things to note Depending on the season, the activities and discoveries vary: energizing walks on foot or by bike in the forest, discovery of the heritage, hiking of the fountains, Landes cuisine, tennis, ocean trips... Nearby, the nature reserve of Lake Arjuzanx, an exceptional site, wintering area of the gray cranes with its beach (supervised swimming in summer) and its outdoor activities (hiking, horseback riding, mountain biking, water sports, fishing, fauna and flora).
