Anchors Away, Witsand, Breede River mouth

WOW!! The views are stunning from this house! Situated on a hill looking over the Breede River towards the mouth in one direction and up the river in the other direction. A wonderful house in a beautiful small town. Great fishing, kite boarding, walks and bird watching. Wonderful to just relax and lap up the view at home. Indoor closed combustion fire place and indoor BBQ, separate weber BBQ. Very well equipped house with all you need for a comfortable holiday. 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms. The space "Anchors Away" is perched up on the hill above the river and has the most wonderful 180 degree views of the river, river mouth and out to sea. Main bedroom upstairs has a queen-size bed and a single bed and has an en-suite bathroom with shower. The 2nd bedroom has twin beds (which are normally made up as a king size bed - they can be split if requested) and has a bathroom with shower and bath. There is another tiny utility room with a double bunk and washing machine - which is fine for overflow or 1 or 2 children The house is suitable for a couple or 4 Adults. All bedding and bath towels provided including electric blankets for the cold winter nights. Anchors Away has a large open plan lounge/dining room and kitchen which steps down into an open plan braai/BBQ room. The lounge has a closed combustion fireplace, TV - 40 inch HD Sony, DVD player and radio. The kitchen is fully fitted with all you need including a dishwasher. There is an open green belt in front of the house with a path leading to the beach of the river - river bank. Witsand/Port Beaufort is situated at the mouth of the Breede River. It is a 3 hour drive from Cape Town and an excellent halfway stop en route to Knysna.
