Country cottage in Derbyshire

A peaceful and quiet country style cottage retreat within the Derbyshire countryside for 6 adult guests, close to Alton towers and set within the Peak district national park. The cottage is located on our none working farm in Roston, the cottage is near to the main house. It has its own parking, entrance and outdoor seating area. We are 15 minutes drive from Alton towers, Ashbourne market town and 25 minutes from the nearest city Derby. The space Meadow cottage is located on our family farm, near our own home and has to offer ; 1x Master bedroom, with a double bed and lovely countryside views. 2 x Twin rooms with single beds and clothing storage. * 1 x single room can be made into a second double room, if needed* 1 x large kitchen with dining area, hob, washing machine, dryer, new fridge/ freezer (2022) and all kitchen cooking utencils you will need. 1 x living room and dining area with a SMART TV with acsess to Netflix and recently fast fibre Internet. - 1 x Log burner with 1 x burn of logs provided available (in the winter months) . Books and games also for children. - Oil full central heating - We now have ample water access with no need now for spaced usage, in reference to previous reviews. Outdoor, there is a patio and a fenced grass area for guests to use for supervised dogs with a outdoor sofa and picnic bench. There is ample parking on site with very easy access to public footpaths for dogs and keen walkers. - Pets welcome at a charge of £25.00 per pet. Payed in cash upon arrival. Please notify us when booking, that you wish to bring a furry friend. The cottage can only cater for 6 adults plus 1x infant in a cot (2 years old and under) **Please do not exceed this amount.** ** Please note that the cottage is onsite to our own home, so loud/ hen do’s or stag do’s may not be appropriate for this cottage** Guest access All spaces of the property is available during your stay. Other things to note DIRECTIONS; - SAT nav will take you past the turning for the driveway . If coming from A50, turn right eventually onto Shields lane. Following post code DE6 2EF - Drive down the hill for 1 mile - Drive is located next to a fenced red brick bungalow called (Brooklyn) on your Right. - Drive past bungalow up the drive way over 3 cattle grids. The cottage is set up a single lane drive way over two fields. There is one gate to open in summer only to access. There are livestock on the driveway in summer. DOGS- there is a charge per dog of £25, this is not included in your air bnb charge for your stay. It is payable upon arrival. - We are a self catering holiday cottage, we supply: - Washing up liquid - 1 x Dish washer tab - 1 x Toilet roll - Tea and Coffee/ Fresh milk - Towels for guests provided - Bed linen included Any questions please ask.
