This space is located in a modern home built in 2014. The space is located in the basement of home which has a living room, bedroom with a queen size bed & modern bathroom. Light refreshments provided. Towels/ Hairdryer/ Body wash provided as well. Ideal for couples & solo travelers or those assigned to short work assignments. A microwave/mini fridge is provided along with a kitchen island/bar space. Tons of parking. 20 min drive to Downtown/White House/Smithsonian/DCA. 15 mins walk metro The space is cozy and comfy. Very clean and well maintained. If there are any additional guests or visitors please discuss with me prior to their arrival. As I live on the floor above the basement, you may hear me but I will never come down to your space and you are not authorized in the main level space. There is a partition which separates the main living space from basement which allows ultimate privacy for guests. Guests may also use the outdoor backyard if they please. We just ask you make us aware so we can accommodate. 20 mins to the Smithsonian/ Capitol Hill/DCA. The property is located within walking distance from the Blue Line Guests can use the space provided in the basement. Guests are not by any means to access the main floor/common areas unless to enter and exit the home. On my particular street all of my neighbors are working professionals. The home is located 15 minutes from Capitol Hill, 8 minutes from RFK Stadium , 20 minutes from Chinatown, 20 minutes from Downtown and about 10 minutes from H ST NE (Bars and Restaurant Strip). Navigating from my home into the city is pretty easy as traffic is usually going in the opposite direction. Car, lyft, Uber and metro are the way ways to get around. The metro stops (capitol heights and Benning Rd) are about 8 minutes away via Uber and the metro in this area is pretty quick! Bag Drop Off and Early Check In will have to be on case by case basis as the turn around time between guests may make it difficult, however we will do everything to accommodate you.
