During winter the conditions are optimal for watching northern lights and the stars at the cabin, and you can take walks on the frozen lake. There are many cross-country skiing trails, and downhill skiing is possible both at Finnsnes (15 min) and also Målselv Fjellandsby (50 min drive). During summer there are fishing opportunities, good hiking trails near the cabin, nearby mountain peaks and Senja´s famous spots. And best of all, with the water only 10 meters from the cabin it is perfectly located to go for a swim in arctic waters - maybe after taking a sauna. Driving distance to popular destinations in the Senja area: 1hr 10 min to Hamn, 1hr 30 min to the famous mountain peak Segla, 40 minutes to Senja Husky Adventures.
