Description
We live on a farm with animals, a natural swimming pool surrounded by woodland and fields. Peaceful, away from technology and phones with only the sound of Woodpeckers and Buzzards to disturb you. This is the rate for ONE of 2 bell tents with its own fire pit and cooking utensils, organic loo, hot shower, an HQ kitchen for when you want a quick warming cup of something. It's a rural haven; tucked away in the Oxfordshire countryside. Blenheim Palace, Oxford, the Cotswolds all on the doorstep. The space We have two bell tents, each with two twin beds that can be joined together to make a comfortable double. Plus an optional two extra Thai mattresses for children (not adults). We provide duvets and pillows, but not sheets or towels. Each tent has its own fire pit and cooking utensils. We provide firewood at £5 per bundle; bring your own charcoal. There is a central HQ cabana which has an electric hob, kettle, utensils and a central dining area if it's too wet outside. Please note: if you are after tents with electricity and chemical loos, this is not the glamping site for you! We are natural, organic and aim to give you a wonderfully authentic, natural stay in our natural surroundings. The prices quoted on Airbandb are PER TENT. If you wish to book more than one tent please contact the owner directly via Airbandb. The main attraction in the summer, apart from the animals and hooting owls at night in the woods behind the tents, is the natural swimming pond. No chlorine or chemicals. It's bliss - your kids will love it and you won't want to swim in a chlorinated pool ever again. We have animals on the farm including our own very friendly Boxer dogs. Hilda and her daughter, Sybil. They are both super friendly with people, especially children. They are not good with other dogs, however, so we don't invite guests to bring their own dogs. We don't entertain parties of any description. Guest access You can access the glamping field and the pool area, as well as the car park. Other things to note We recommend you bring the following: o Towels (swlmming and shower) o Soap, shampoo, toiletries o Sleeping bags for children o Single duvet covers, sheets and pillow cases o Torch o Warm clothes for chilly evenings o Rubbish bin bags o Charcoal for cooking (we supply firewood at £5 per bag)
