Our home, Willow Field House, is situated in the genuine countryside village, Loue, only 50 minutes drive from the biggest cities in Lapland; Rovaniemi and Kemi-Tornio. On your stay you can enjoy the real country life; easy going activities or just have a good night sleep. My program service company, Arctic Emotions, provides nature excursions, snow art and aurora tours near by. Ask for more information. The space These cozy rooms are situated on the second floor of my house with own entrance and privacy. My children use to have their rooms upstairs but after they have moved on their own I have renovated the place for guests. Now there is own entrance, bathroom and little kitchen for guests to use.The kitchen has a small oven, stove, microwave, electric kettle, coffee maker, toaster and all necessary kitchen utensils. I live myself downstairs. There is nice traditional sauna on the yard which can be used if it's not booked by other guests. From our yard, there is a spacious landscape that continues directly into the forest and into the wilderness. There is good place to watch auroras in winter evenings. The river Vaajoki flows just front of the house. Guest access You need to have a car to get here. Bus lines are very poorly in remote areas of Lapland Other things to note Our program service company, Arctic Emotions, provides excursions to nature park near by, ice fishing trips, aurora hikes, snow sculpting etc. My guests are free to use the yard and garden, fire place outside and in the cozy side building. Sauna could be warmed up with additional cost if available. Sauna 1. heat up free, following 25€/heat up. All the snow shoes, kick sleds, tobogganing sleds and bikes are for free use. In winter time there is tobogganing slope on the river bench for children and child minded. Nearest crocery store is 1 km away. Open daily. We are discrimination free company.
