This Reserve, delimited between Ponta de São Jorge and Ponta do Clérigo, comprises a total area of 1710 hectares. Being exclusively marine, the Rocha do Navio Natural Reserve covers the seabed up to 100 meters and the islets of Rocha das Vinhas and Viúva. Thus, the conservation of fisheries and maritime resources is an undeniable priority here. When accessing this area, through the Rocha do Navio Viewpoint, by a path or by cable car, you will then have the opportunity to quietly contemplate this natural setting of great charm. In the flora, the endemic species that embellish the cliffs stand out. In addition, this space houses a potential habitat for the monk seal (Monachus monachus), known as the sea lion.
