Our quiet, well equipped holiday cottage is tucked in the centre of a beautiful rural village with fabulous walks & great cycling; yet Cambridge is just 12 miles away. We have two village pubs; one a gastro pub the other more traditional. A car is recommended, parking on the road outside is free with no restrictions in a quiet location. We have a great village shop, Royston 4m, Saffron Walden 8m. Central London by train 30 min & Stansted Airport 12 miles. We hope to welcome you soon! The space Guests often comment that the cottage is bigger than they imagined, this is probably because it was originally converted for full time living not short term stays. The entire detached cottage is yours to enjoy, we live in a 16th Century thatched cottage in the grounds. The large garden is a shared space but there is also a bespoke seating area for guests to enjoy the sunshine and a drink in peace. Guest access You can enjoy the whole cottage and the large shared garden with your own seating area. I am happy to store bikes too.
