We are happy to share our home with visitors who seek country tranquility and a warm, friendly family atmosphere. The rooms are light and airy with views of our garden. We purchased this beautiful antique home in 2012 as a family home. It had previously been run as a B&B and we now feel inclined to share this beautiful home with others. Magnificent gardens surround the house and stone pathways meander throughout the garden. Our music room/library is a cozy place to hang out and our guests are welcome to join us in the living areas. We are a short walk to a stunning waterfall, swimming in the resevoir and hiking and skiing trails abound. Our guests enjoy nearby tennis, swimming, berry picking, downhill skiing, theater, galleries and restaurants. Guests are also welcome to join our family for dinner ($15 -25/person depending on the menu) Previous reservation is required. We enjoy engaging in lively conversation over good food and a glass of wine and frequently host friends and family. Our guests are always welcome to join. There is wifi throughout the house, but we don't own a television. There is a full bathroom directly across the hall from this room. Another bathroom on the same floor is available to guests. This bedroom has a comfortable queen sized mattress. A futon can be placed on the floor to accommodate an extra guest ($15 surcharge.) Washer and dryer Kitchen use upon request and or meals with the family can be arranged. All public spaces are available to our guests with the exception of the office. We are often available in person and always by phone to offer help throughout your stay. Wilton is a friendly, old-fashioned rural New England community. It has an active community center, a great library and art supply store a few restaurants, and a handful of lovely shops. Home to the famous Wilton Town Hall Theater, (the popcorn is served with real butter) and Andy’s Summer Playhouse. Public transportation is not an option in our rustic area. Folks love to bring their bikes, kayaks and paddle boards. There are numerous trails and places to enjoy nature. The roads and driveways are well plowed in winter! Deana has maintained a Zen Shiatsu massage and energywork practice for over 30 years. Appointments can be arranged at her home office when she is on site.
