Bushwillow Cottage, Waterberg Cottages

Main bedroom upstairs with en suite bathroom, mezzanine floor upstairs with 2 sofa beds, downstairs is the second room with 3 single beds with an en suite shower, a fully equipped kitchen, lounge, dining room and indoor fireplace. Outside, a furnished stoep, hot tub and braai area. The space Set in the UNESCO recognised Waterberg Biosphere, Bushwillow is a comfortable two storey cottage with great views out over the bush. It has a double volume living/dining/kitchen area and is fully equipped for self catering. Bushwillow has a large stoep and two ensuite bedrooms, with a further two beds on a mezzanine level. It has a braai area and a hot tub and enjoys access to a nearby swimming pool. We offer a wide range of on-site activities for guests, including walking trails, game drives, horse riding, our 15m heated pool, volleyball court, guided birding and astronomy. For children, we have an adventure village and trampoline, donkey cart rides, pony rides, and in the summer, a small mammal safari. One of the things that makes us unique is the presence of our resident astronomer - Dr Philip Calcott, who can give guests a guided tour of the stunningly dark night sky in the Waterberg Guest access Guests obviously have Bushwillow to themselves, but can also enjoy the beautiful cottage gardens and the area around the heated pool. For the more adventurous, there are marked walking trails of varying lengths on the private game reserve, one of which takes guests up to a look out point we call Tree Tops. Other things to note The last 8 km of road to the cottage is gravel, but guests can access this with a normal car. Very low vehicles (think sporty BMW) will struggle. A 4x4 is not required.
