Self-catering cottage. Spacious main en suite shower, open plan kitchen & living room with wood burning firebox & tv, wooden stairs to loft with two 3/4 beds + own shower overlooking farmland. Ideal for young couples or family of 4 for weekend stay in the KZN Midlands. Equipped with large fridge/freezer, gas hob, microwave and other basic kitchen essentials. No oven. There is a weber braai and basic veranda furniture. Bushbuck and hare come out in the evening. Sunny in the morning. The space Eclectically furnished. Easy to clean. Fresh and simple. Enjoy the Midlands - whether it be for a wedding or a lunch at neighbouring wine farm / local restaurants or meandering the R103 routes - and come back for a comfortable night in front of the wood burning fireplace or a braai under the stars. Quiet. Rural. Yet not far from N3. Guest access Let us know when you get to the electronic gate and once you get up the steepish drive, the cottages are situated on a large grassy area with access to hidden rocky area under the gum and pines growing nearby. You are welcome to walk the approximately 5ha sloping property. Other things to note Wild Hare Cottages are self-catering. Water is from a borehole and delicious to drink. Power is from Eskom and subject to load shedding but rechargeable light bulbs and lamps are available. Our gas showers are now working off a gravity tank system and no longer affected by load shedding. Wi-fi is available through a satelite provider but may be affected by load shedding in some areas.
