Charming quintessential 17th century, Grade II Listed cottage situated in the idyllic Cotswold village of Barton-on-the-Heath. Please note the original stairs are steep, but easy to use with the assistance of the hand rail. The space Built of coursed Cotswold limestone with a tile roof, Daylesford Cottage is Grade II Listed and enjoys idyllic views to the front and rear. There is a charming living room with delightful fireplace with a wood-burner and original bread oven. The cottage has a traditional style farmhouse kitchen with quarry tile floor, oil fired Aga, a Belfast sink and granite work surfaces. There is an extendable 6 seater dining table within the kitchen and doors to the garden from both the kitchen and living room. You enter the cottage through the welcoming utility/boot room to the side via the carport. The original staircases lead up from the sitting room (and again from the first floor to the third bedroom in the loft). The master bedroom is very spacious, with a king size bed and ample built-in wardrobes and a generous en-suite shower room with a tile floor, panelling and a large waterfall shower cubicle. The second bathroom features a bath and handheld shower head. Bedroom two has a double bed with a lovely view over the garden. The third bedroom, located on the second floor has lovely countryside views. Outside, features a beautiful south-west facing country garden with Cotswold stone walls and an abundance of flowers and a part-covered patio area for alfresco dining. Guest access There is easy parking to the side of the cottage in the carport, and free parking on the road immediately outside of the cottage. Guests should use the car port where possible to reduce cars on the road.
