West Lodge is a late 19th century gate house, belonging to the Guyzance Hall Estate. It has been fully refurbished bringing it up to modern standards, but still retaining its old charm. with a cozy wood burner, there is spacious living room and a beautiful kitchen, with a lovely view out to the river Coquet. With a cozy wood burner, there is a spacious living room and a beautiful kitchen with river and a garden surrounding it, and a drive. The cottage is situated at the west end of the small hamlet of Guyzance, close to Walkworth and the beautiful Northumberland coast. Just one dog allowed in the cottage!!! Guest access The cottage garden is solely for the use of the guests in the cottage. Just one dog allowed in the cottage . Private river fishing on the River Coquet at Guyzance Hall or Tennis court can be booked, however neither are included in the price. Other things to note Just one dog allowed in the cottage . We can offer at GUYZANCE Hall Private river fishing on the River Coquet or Tennis court can be booked Both are not included in the price itself. Guests can bring bikes, it is an easy ride to go for dinner or coffee in Warkworth , Amble harbour ,or Alnmouth . For us as a family of 6 , it takes us about 30 mins to cycle to Amble for dinner, taking a scenic short cut over the river Coquet into Warkworth and on to Amble or in a car 5/10 mins .
