In the heart of the UNESCO Global Geopark, in the North Pennines, this area of outstanding natural beauty, is a place to relax and unwind. The famous C2C National Cycle Route passes our cottage, making this an ideal base for cyclists. This is a dog-friendly rural area, and neighbouring properties do have dogs. Nearest shop 7 miles away. The space A beautifully proportioned terraced cottage set on a quiet street in a truly rural location. To the rear, the property enjoys stunning, uninterrupted views across the fells, with sheep often seen roaming by the river at the bottom of the garden, creating a wonderfully peaceful and picturesque setting. The cottage offers two generously sized bedrooms and a comfortable, welcoming living space, ideal for unwinding and switching off. The décor is thoughtfully in keeping with the character of the original cottage, blending traditional charm with modern comfort. With central heating, two log burners, and a well-equipped kitchen with plenty of space to cook and dine, you’ll have everything you need to relax after a day exploring the beautiful surrounding countryside. Guest access The whole property is available for use. There is a small shared rear area at the back, before stepping into our private garden. At the bottom of our garden, as you go through the gate, you’ll discover our fire pit and seating area, perfectly positioned to enjoy the peaceful river views. Please note that there is space for one car to park directly outside the property. Should you have additional vehicles, parking is available further up the road near the wall and pathway. Other things to note We do request that visitors who are bringing dogs, avoid allowing them access to the bedrooms.
