Cozy lakeside cabin with dock and sauna

Welcome to a small and charming cottage at Kasviken on Runmarö, about 30 square meters, a few meters from the water. Here you can stay comfortably with your own toilet, shower, kitchen, fireplace, fast Wi-Fi and access to a dock, sauna and bicycles. A place for you who want to wake up close to nature, take a morning swim, enjoy the peace and quiet, and really discover the archipelago. Possibility to use a basic boat in the sea by arrangement and depending on experience. On Runmarö, there is an inn, a bakery, and beautiful hiking trails. The space The house is equipped with a simple kitchen, toilet, shower and wood-fired stove. In these natural areas on archipelago islands, we use a dry toilet (Separett Villa), which is completely odorless and easy to manage. There is also a TV and fast internet at 1000/1000 Mbit/s. The kitchen has tables, chairs and the necessary kitchen equipment. The bedroom is furnished with a 160-cm double bed, and an extra bed can also be set up if desired. The accommodation is fully equipped with chairs and the kitchen equipment needed for a comfortable stay. The bedroom is furnished with a spacious double bed of 160 cm, and if necessary, there is also the possibility to set up an extra bed. For those of you who want to experience the archipelago from the water, there is a basic rowboat to borrow, as well as an older, smaller outboard motor. The boat is intended for guests who have previous boating experience and feel confident on the lake. Since the accommodation is close to the sea, we ask that you always notify us before you go out and tell us approximately when you plan to be back. Life jackets in various sizes are available to borrow in the workshop, and nautical charts of the nearby area are available on the kitchen table for those of you who want to explore the archipelago on your own. Would you rather sit back and discover the gems of the archipelago with someone who knows the area? Feel free to contact us for the possibility of a private guided boat trip in the nearby area. There are several fantastic islands and excursion destinations within reach, including Bullerö, Sandhamn and Hallskär, along with many smaller and beautiful archipelago islands. A perfect opportunity to experience the Stockholm Archipelago at its very best, both from land and from the sea. Guest access The cottage is in a scenic area along with a few other houses on a generous plot of about 8,000 m², which creates an airy and harmonious environment. As a guest you have free access to a small jetty, perfect for morning swim or quiet evenings by the water. You can also book the wood-fired sauna for extra relaxation for SEK 200 / occasion. At least two bicycles are available to borrow to easily discover the surroundings, and for those who are the lake, there is a possibility to borrow a simpler rowing boat by the sea. From the front of the house, facing the water, you enjoy an undisturbed location without transparency, here you really get the feeling of peace and privacy. Other things to note We'll pick you up at Styrsvik jetty so you can easily find your way to the cabin. Bed linen & towels. Bed linens and towels are included. The entire property is a non-smoking zone indoors, but it is fine to smoke outside. Outdoor open fire. Always contact us before using an outdoor fireplace. In the summer time, there may sometimes be a ban on open fires. Cleaning The house must be cleaned before check-out: kitchen, sink, toilet and bedroom. Garbage and recycling cans/glass must be sorted by the guest in the designated place. Put towels and bed linens on the floor, and we will take care of them. Old charcoal can be left behind; we'll take care of it. If you have rented the sauna, it should be cleaned and the ash pan emptied in the designated place. All floors are to be swept by the guest. If something is broken, let us know so we can replace anything that is broken or missing. If you have borrowed life jackets, don't forget to return them.
