Stunning location by Loch Katrine, set in the heart of the Loch Lomond & Trossachs National Park, Wattie offers peace and tranquillity. Family bathroom, 2 shower rooms (1 en suite) plus separate wc. Well equipped kitchen with dining area. Comfy lounge with log burning stove. 2 well behaved dogs welcome. The space Thoughtfully designed with creature comforts, our home is beautifully, and yet practically decorated throughout. Working with the some of the very best Scottish companies, you get a true sense of location. Sustainability is important to us, we believe in supporting local companies and therefore - less road/air miles, and supporting the local economy. The house dates from 1888, an Art-and-Crafts home with many original features. The house is on 2 levels. Ground floor has open-plan kitchen/diner, spacious lounge, shower room and utility area. Bedroom 1: twin bedroom with 2 single beds. First floor: family bathroom with bath and overhead shower, WC and sink. Additional WC. Bedroom 2: double bed. Bedroom 3: over-sized room with king-size bed. Bedroom 4: master bedroom with en suite shower room. Each guest is provided with a bath sheet and hand towel. Christmas and New Year - we fully decorate the property complete with large Christmas tree, lights and lots of festive decorations throughout the property. Decorations go up from end of November for anyone looking for guests looking for a pre-Christmas getaway with family/friends. STL ST00563F Guest access Due to the configuration of the building, our front and back doors are just metres apart. Accessing through the front door, there are a couple of steps up into the hallway. The ground floor comprises of open-plan kitchen dinner. This leads down a couple of steps to the back door where we have a small utility area with a washing machine. Just off this area, we have a shower room with heated floor. The spacious lounge had 3 sofa, two of which are 3-seaters and one 2-seater. Large smart-TV. Wood-burner for cosy nights in by the fire. We have one twin bedroom downstairs, handy for children or those who have difficulty managing stairs.
