Mansarde Lavande de Savoie is the original name of this romantic alpine-Provençal hideaway, 50 m from Valdieri centre, in the Maritime Alps Park. Two opposite balconies offer relaxation, sun, sunset views over Piastra and a cool afternoon breeze. It has a double bedroom, a room with a bunk bed for two people, study/work corner and Wi-Fi, living room with sofa bed, table and TV, equipped kitchen, bathroom with tub/shower and a cellar to store and charge bicycles. The space The accommodation opens onto an entrance hallway leading to the main rooms. Although located within an apartment building, the flat preserves the intimate, peaceful atmosphere of an alpine hideaway: a bright and welcoming attic apartment overlooking the rooftops of Valdieri and surrounded by mountains. The living room is a warm and comfortable space, furnished with a TV, a double sofa bed, an extendable cherry-wood table with four chairs, and a charming alpine sideboard equipped with plates and tableware. From here, a French window opens onto the south-west-facing balcony, with views of Mount Piastra and the picturesque historic centre of Valdieri: an ideal spot to enjoy the sun, the quiet, and the light of sunset. On the same side of the apartment is the main bedroom, furnished with a French-style double bed, two bedside tables, a wardrobe, and a double-casement window. On the opposite side is the second bedroom, furnished with a bunk bed for two people, a wardrobe, and a small study/work corner with a table and chair. It is a cool and peaceful space, also suitable for guests who wish to read, study, or work in a cosy setting. The room has a French window leading to the north-east-facing balcony, overlooking the inner courtyard and refreshed by the breeze coming from the Gesso river. The apartment also includes a kitchenette equipped for preparing meals, complete with refrigerator, microwave oven, traditional oven, worktop, sink, coffee machine, kitchen utensils, and tableware. At the end of the hallway is the bathroom, fitted with a washbasin, mirror, bathtub, shower, WC, and bidet. The south-facing window offers a pleasant view of Mount Lausetto. Guests also have access to a cellar, useful for storing and charging bicycles and e-bikes. Thanks to its position, the accommodation offers a pleasant quality of stay in every season: intimate and romantic for a couple, comfortable for a family, quiet and cosy for solo travellers looking for a peaceful place to rest, read, study, or work. You are in the heart of the village, yet with the constant feeling of having the mountains right before your eyes. Guest access Guests will have access to the entire attic apartment, including the two private balconies, living room, bedrooms, kitchenette, bathroom, and dedicated cellar, useful for storing and charging bicycles and e-bikes. The apartment is located on the fourth floor of a building without a lift/elevator; access is via the shared staircase. Keys are handed over personally, with the check-in time agreed in advance. Other things to note The accommodation is carefully cleaned before every stay. The €60 final cleaning fee includes bed linen, blankets and towels, as well as shampoo, shower gel, hand soap and washing-up liquid. For longer stays, bed linen and towels are changed weekly. The beds are fitted with waterproof, anti-dust-mite protectors. The apartment does not have a washing machine. Heating is provided by radiators connected to a gas boiler, which also supplies hot water. The kitchen has a gas hob.
