Beautiful spacious room - ensuite & parking

This beautifully designed double aspect room is ideal for short and long stays, just 1.5 miles from the city. The quiet ensuite is on the ground floor, with direct access to the garden. It is very well equipped with coffee and tea making facilities and plenty of clothes storage for your stay. The room has a super-king sized bed & ensuite with rainfall shower. There is private access to the room via a little path that takes you to a glass door. Private parking is provided just outside. The space This house is located in the village of Combe down in a private street. The house is detached and very quiet and It sits in its own garden. There is a private terrace for guests to use and car parking (for one car), directly outside. The room also has its own separate entrance for guests to use. Whilst there is no kitchen, the room is equipped with kettle, tea, coffee machine (Nespresso pod) and fresh milk in the small fridge. There is plenty of clothes storage in the wardrobe and chest of drawers. There are woods opposite which lead to the Bath skyline walks or a gentle stroll into the city (about 25 mins walk). There is a bus stop only 5 minutes walk from the house with an excellent service to the historic city of Bath. The journey is ten minutes to the centre of the city. Nearby there is a fish and chip shop, grocery stores, post office and a deli serving delicious cakes, coffees and lunches. We would recommend the King William pub, about 15 minutes walk away for evening meals. Guest access Guests have private access to the bedroom, bathroom and terrace. Guests are welcome to use the garden to the left of the entrance. Guests can use the washing machine and tumble dryer in the house by arrangement. During your stay We are available in the house should you need anything at all during your stay. If we are not in, please just call. We love hosting and are happy to help. Other things to note The property is located in a bat preservation zone, so the garden window will go opaque during the night to protect the rare type of bats that live in the woods. The window will automatically switch to transparent in the morning. A very friendly cat lives in the house (but cannot access your room unless the windows and doors are left open). He will always come and keep you company!
